Our lively wines have subtle corners and edges. And it’s good this way, because we love natural, authentic wines. Each one has a characteristic soul, which develops from the natural flavours of the grapes and the terroir. All this comes to fruition thanks to our biodynamic cultivation. We also work gently and reductively in the wine cellar.
Natural
In search of the original. Our biodynamic approach and the handwork in the vineyards have led us also to old wine making methods. The first attempts have captivated us: This natural wine presents itself as stable, intense and expressive with generous fruit. Natural wine is fermented for a very long time on the skins and is neither fined nor filtered.
The Nussberg Grüner Veltliner comes from the single vineyard „Weisleiten“, which brings by its cooler location very much freshness in the wine. A racy and mineral Veltliner.
Gemischter Satz from the single vineyard Gollin, Oberer Schoß and Weisleiten, from the vines Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot blanc, Welschriesling and Muskateller.
From the Nussberg of small single vineyards Kerninger, Gollin and Preussen represent the grapes for this animated and fine – grained Riesling with a touch of Maracuja.
The most exciting single vineyard from the winery in the Ried Weisleiten of old vines. Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling and pinot blanc merge into a finely rich and elegant mixed Gemischter Satz.
As a declared 1.Lage, these old vines result in a complex white burgundy grown in the big wooden barrels with delicate herbal spice, fine pear aromatic and refreshing acid bow.
The Grinzinger famous single vineyard Steinberg stands with its old vines behind this salty elegant Riesling, which is characterized by yellow tropical fruits and fine peach aromas.
A small portion of the Grinzinger famous single vineyard Steinberg is with old vines of Grüner Veltliner. A charming wine with a salty touch and calcareous freshness originates from this special terroir.
Mash-fermented Grüner Veltliner, stored for 4 months on the skins in steel tanks and filled into the bottle without intervention. Nutty, pleasantly spicy, fine tannin notes.
Mash-fermented Muskateller stored for 5 months on the skin in amphorae and bottled without any intervention. Elder Flowers, aranzini, lychees and delicate nutty.
Mash-fermented Gemischter Satz from the single vineyard Ulm and Weisleiten at the Wiener Nussberg, stored for 5 months on the skin in amphorae and bottled without any intervention. Orange jam, Bergamotte, mineral and persistent.
Mash-fermented Traminer (50% red Traminer, 50% yellow Traminer), stored for 5 months on the skin in amphorae and bottled without any interventions. Rose oil, touch of Marshmallow, intense and complex.
Mash-fermented Zweigelt, stored for 9 weeks on the skin in the concrete egg and bottled without any interventions. Dark fruit, black cherry and and plum. Fine tannins and fresh acidity.
